Tuesday in LA

We were up and going around 5am this morning. We arrived in LA and it was still morning thanks to gift of time zones. We had no problem getting our rental car and resisted temptation to get a red infinity car for 5$ more a day-we stuck with a generic Chevrolet sedan.
We went to In-and-out burger and the girls got to experience them for the first time. We checked into our beautiful hotel and then went sight seeing. We window shopped on Rodeo drive and had Sprinkles cupcakes. For dinner, we ate at Mario Batali's restaurant, Mozza which is a unique pizza place. I had fried squash blossoms with ricotta, then lentils with goat cheese medallions (could have that dish every day!) and dessert was a caramel sundae (caramel gelatto over a waffle disk, covered with home made marshmallow cream and topped with salty Spanish peanuts) DIVINE.
We then took a tour of the Hollywood hills and the beautiful and unique homes there. The girls took pictures in front of the Hollywood sign. We went by LA Ink, a tattoo parlour the girls wanted to see as it is the host of a TV show.
All in all it was a busy, fun and full day. The conference begins tomorrow!
