Lessons learned

Sometimes life or God just sends little lesson in the most interesting ways. My dryer has broken. A small felt ring ends up meaning an entire new inside. That leads to almost 3 weeks with no dryer. That leads me to the random washateria on Sunday. Lots of new learning there as well as a realization about what to be thankful for. Today, I met with my knee doctor to get the results of my MRI. I didn't know whether to pray that it was torn and would have to have surgery or that it not be torn and get the shots. Either way-pain. The results are in and I have torn meniscus in both knees. I now get to find a few days (that makes he almost want to laugh hysterically) that I can take off to have one done and then repeat on the other. I felt quite a bit bummed and took myself for retail therapy. I am repeating to myself "I am glad I have a job. I am thankful to have insurance. I can make time to take care of myself."

Just think of how much better you will be when it is all done. From my stand point, you got the best out of two. Shots....I would pass. Let me know if you need anything and when you are having it done.
