I told myself I was not going to get sucked into the fitness diet craze that everyone has each January. I told myself that I was going to take it slow-focus on happy.
The next thing I know, I am sitting with my pal Miss V and she is showing me her new Biggest Loser trainer book and has me taking her survey about what kind of eater I am so I can know what kind of food I need to eat. This is always a challenge because I have had bypass surgery on my stomach and I am a real dichotomy (big word alert!). I mean if you are taking about the real me, I am a steak lovin, friend chicken gobblin kinda gal. If you are talking about the real, how I live every day since surgery, I am a always hungry for protein but tired of throwing up, sugar addicted kinda gal. Miss V loves and I mean loves all things self-help and fitness so I let her practice on me. It was fun.
That led to she and I working out at 24 hour fitness for the first time in MANY blue moons.
I think I was sucked in.
