Here's to friends

I spent most of today trying out recipes. One I made up in my head and one from an online source. The one in my head, well it is ok but not worth publishing but the last one is pretty good. Here goes:
I am going to name this OMG for "oh my goodness". The name is such because some ingredients might be unusual, but the end product is, well OMG. This is in honor of my good friend June and of all new friends we make.
Cast of characters:
Yes, it seems strange but 1 cup fritos and 2 cups pretzels. Crush in a plastic bag and lay out on a jelly roll or cake pan that is lined with no-stick foil or parchment. Then (and here is where June will scream OMG!!) place several mini-reeses or in my case by a small set of big ones for 99c and cut them up. Scatter over the dry mixture.

Next find a very cute cooking buddy and place 1 stick butter and 1/2 cup of brown sugar and boil for 1 minute. Cute cooking buddy stirs during 1 minute and backs off when timer chimes. Pour the mixture over the pretzel, frito and peanut butter cups. Place into the oven for 8 minutes at 350 degrees. After 8 minutes take out of the oven and sprinkle one bag of chocolate chips (I like milk chocolate) and put back in the oven for one minute. Take out and spread the softened chocolate.
Place the pan in the fridge or freezer and cut up when ready to eat. Enjoy!!

Sounds fabby. It is sugar free and low in calories right???? LOL It so won't fit into my eating plan but I will certainly hang onto the recipe for that special something. Thanks for sharing.
