The circle of life

Thinking about Dads. I can't even begin about mine-it will cause a river of tears and I already had a good cry this weekend! Not about him.. Anyhoo. I love my Dad like you just don't even understand. We had the blessing or curse (depending on how you see it) to find that his heart was not functioning well about 5 years ago. I appreciate each and every day we have with my Dad. He is a great man and I have learned so much from him. I am grateful for the sacrifices that he and my mom have made to help us realize our dreams. Enough!! I am getting misty.
That brings me to the Dad in our house. I also love him more than he will ever know. He amazes me daily with his patience, maturity and capacity for fun. He has been a great provider in our family and he makes me very happy. He also is a huge idol to a not-quite-small boy in our house. He thinks his dad rocks and that is just as it should be. To everyone out there-Happy Father's Day. Thanks to our Heavenly Father as well from which all these blessings flow.

Welcome home. I'm sure your boys missed you, I know we did. Dad's are great, I miss mine everyday and love him more than yesterday.
